Professional cleaning companies may not have workman’s compensation on all of their employees due to it being so expensive. This leaves you at risk of having to pay more than you first thought, though. Employees who are injured while cleaning your home and do not have workman’s compensation can end up filing a lawsuit.
Can I have a checklist of what you will be doing?
Different companies have different definitions of what basic services consist of. It is important for you to know and understand what you are paying for. You may think that carpet cleaning includes stain protection and deodorizing, but this might not be included in a companies’ basic carpet cleaning package. Having this information upfront in writing will help you to know exactly what you are getting out of your cleaning service.
What if I am unhappy with my cleaning services?
This is very important to know because every company has a different policy. Some companies may only offer to give you half of what you pay while others may not give you anything back at all. A good and reputable company should come back right away to do whatever it takes to fix the issue or offer a complete refund.
Who provides the tools and supplies?
You may think that you are receiving a good deal, but what you may not know is the quote given may not include tools and supplies. The company may think you will supply everything they need in order to get the job done. This adds to your total bill and may leave you with a sour taste in your mouth. It is best to find a company that supplies all the tools and equipment. Employees are less likely to misuse items supplied by the company.
